GenEI over GenAI - The Human Side of Website Delivery

Many, if not most, web developers and agencies looking for a competitive advantage today are exploring artificial intelligence. I posit that instead of hoping for it to provide us with more productivity, efficiency, or velocity, we should rather focus on empathy. Empathy is a key ability in all areas of business and life. In my talk, I draw from my experience of running a Drupal hosting business to explain how an investment in empathy makes us more successful in leadership and strategy, in sales, in design and development.
