Discover how Drupal CMS is evolving through strategic UX research and community collaboration. This session will provide a comprehensive look at current progress, future roadmap, and the user-centred approach driving product decisions.
Sharing insights from my Drupal roles of UX Manager Drupal Core and UX Research Lead, Drupal CMS, I'll update on features currently in development and reveal plans for future releases and share how we defined our strategy and scope, what we're actively seeking from contributors, and how the community has united around shared goals.
Learn how comprehensive UX research is bridging the gap between Drupal's technical power and non-technical users' needs. I’ll draw on findings from interviews, concept studies and usability research to show how we're applying UX research to turn feelings into features and using continuous research to drive product decisions that are fundamentally changing the narrative about Drupal.
In this session:
- Explore the current state, key contributions, and achievements of Drupal CMS
- Understand the roadmap and strategy driving our community forward
- Learn how UX research translates into product features and innovation
